Ingredients

Biscuits:

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder

½ tsp salt

1¾ cups buttermilk (plus more if needed)

1½ cups fresh blueberries

Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2–3 tbsp milk

Instructions

Preheat Oven:

Preheat to 450°F (230°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

Melt Butter:

Melt butter and pour into the bottom of the baking dish.

Make Dough:

In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add buttermilk and stir until sticky dough forms. Adjust with extra buttermilk if too dry.

Add Blueberries:

Gently fold in fresh blueberries.

Spread dough evenly over melted butter.

Score into 9 squares with a knife.
