Description
Colorful veggie pizza loaded with fresh vegetables and melted cheese—a crisp, wholesome meal that’s easy, flavorful, and family-approved.
Ingredients
Scale
Crescent Roll Crust
- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
Creamy Ranch Spread
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
Vegetable Toppings
- 1 cup chopped broccoli florets
- 1 cup chopped cauliflower
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Crescent Roll Crust: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll both cans of crescent roll dough and press them into a large ungreased baking sheet, pinching the seams together to form one solid crust.
- Bake the Crust: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack to prevent the creamy topping from melting.
- Make the Ranch Spread: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch dressing mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Spread over Crust: Once the crust is cool, evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface.
- Add Vegetable Toppings: Sprinkle the chopped broccoli, cauliflower, shredded carrots, and diced red bell pepper evenly over the ranch spread, ensuring good coverage for every bite.
- Add Cheese: Top the pizza with a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Chill: Place the veggie pizza in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set the topping and meld flavors.
- Slice and Serve: Cut the chilled pizza into squares and serve cold as a crisp, refreshing appetizer.
Notes
- Use your favorite mix of veggies such as tomatoes, cucumber, or radishes for extra color and flavor.
- For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
- Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoyed within 2 days.
- Chill thoroughly before slicing for clean, neat squares.
