- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups brown gravy (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Place the cooked meatballs evenly over the mashed potatoes.
- Pour the brown gravy evenly over the meatballs.
- If desired, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the meatballs and gravy.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
