Description

Grilled asparagus in foil with garlic herb butter is an easy, healthy side dish—perfect for summer BBQs or weeknight dinners, ready in 20 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium or oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Lay asparagus on a large sheet of foil.

  • Add butter, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  • Fold foil into a sealed packet.

  • Grill or bake for 15 minutes until tender.

 

  • Open foil carefully, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges if desired.

  • Add minced garlic or crushed red pepper for extra flavor.
