Description

Crispy Smashed Broccoli Chips are a delightful twist on a classic vegetable, transforming broccoli florets into crunchy, cheesy bites seasoned with zesty lemon pepper. This simple recipe requires just three ingredients and delivers a snack or side dish that’s both flavorful and fun to eat.

  • 2 to 3 crowns of broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
  • ½ to 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add broccoli florets and cook for 3–4 minutes until just tender. Drain and pat dry thoroughly.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange broccoli florets on the sheet.
  4. Using the bottom of a glass or measuring cup, gently press down on each floret to flatten slightly.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan evenly over the smashed broccoli.
  6. Dust the tops with lemon pepper seasoning.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
