  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • Cooking spray
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Season the chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Dredge each tender in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Spray both sides of the breaded tenders lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Place tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. While the chicken cooks, prepare the sauce: in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and rice vinegar.
  7. Bring to a simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
