A fun and indulgent dessert, these deep-fried s’mores combine gooey marshmallows, rich chocolate, and crispy graham crackers coated in a sweet batter and fried to golden perfection.

- 12 graham crackers
- 16 oz melted chocolate wafers
- 16 large square marshmallows
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper. Layer graham crackers on the bottom, spread with half the melted chocolate, add marshmallows, top with remaining chocolate, then another layer of graham crackers. Press down gently and freeze for at least 2 hours.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Cut frozen s’mores into bite-sized squares and freeze again for 2 hours until firm.
- Heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot.
- Using a toothpick, dip each frozen square into the batter, coat fully, and fry for 1 to 1½ minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.

- Ensure s’mores are fully frozen before frying to maintain shape.
- Use chocolate chips if melted chocolate wafers are unavailable.
