Description
Golden, crispy breaded garlic mushrooms—perfectly seasoned and deep-fried for a flavorful appetizer or snack that’s irresistibly crunchy.
Ingredients
14 oz (400g) chestnut or button mushrooms, cleaned
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup fine breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp dried parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Oil for deep frying
Instructions
Prepare three bowls: flour in the first, whisked eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic granules, parsley, salt, and pepper in the third.
Dredge each mushroom in flour, dip into egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or heavy pot.
Fry mushrooms in batches for 3–4 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with garlic mayo or your favorite dip.

- Ensure mushrooms are dry before breading for best results.
