Description
A fun twist on two classics—these Chicken Parm Caesar Salad Sliders combine crispy chicken, gooey mozzarella, tangy marinara, and creamy Caesar salad on sweet Hawaiian rolls. Ideal for parties, game days, or an exciting weeknight meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 2–3 chicken cutlets
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1 cup cooking oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- Fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Pound the chicken cutlets until thin and even. Dip each cutlet in the beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly in Italian bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken cutlets until golden brown and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped romaine, parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, and black pepper. Toss well to coat.
- Place fried chicken cutlets on a baking sheet. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece and top with slices of fresh mozzarella. Broil for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and lightly toast them if desired. Place a piece of cheesy chicken cutlet on the bottom half of each roll, top with a generous spoonful of Caesar salad, and cover with the top bun. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use store-bought chicken tenders for a quicker version.
- To make ahead, prepare all components separately and assemble just before serving.
- Optional: Add a slice of tomato or pickle for extra crunch.
