Description

Buttery crescent dough wraps around a rich and creamy crab filling for the ultimate savory snack or appetizer—simple to make, yet irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained and picked over)
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, crab meat, green onion, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the crab filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each triangle from the wide end, securing the filling inside.
  6. Place rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with the beaten egg for a golden, glossy finish.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Garnish with parsley if using, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Ensure crab meat is well-drained to prevent sogginess.
  • These can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
  • Serve with a side of dipping sauce like garlic aioli or cocktail sauce for extra flavor.
