Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained and picked over)
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, crab meat, green onion, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Spoon a generous amount of the crab filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end, securing the filling inside.
- Place rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops with the beaten egg for a golden, glossy finish.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with parsley if using, and serve warm.
Notes
- Ensure crab meat is well-drained to prevent sogginess.
- These can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- Serve with a side of dipping sauce like garlic aioli or cocktail sauce for extra flavor.
