Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Begin by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes to ensure even cooking from the start.
- Prepare Crescent Dough: Open the can and separate the crescent roll dough into 8 individual triangles. This will make wrapping the Oreos easier and more uniform.
- Wrap the Oreos: Place one Oreo cookie in the center of each dough triangle. Gently fold the dough around the cookie, pinching and sealing the seams so the Oreo is completely enclosed.
- Prepare Air Fryer Basket: Lightly coat the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Arrange Wrapped Oreos: Place the dough-wrapped Oreos in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching, so each one cooks evenly and gets perfectly golden.
- Air Fry: Cook for 5–6 minutes, or until the dough turns golden brown and puffs up. Keep an eye on them, as air fryer cooking times can vary slightly by model.
- Cool Slightly: Remove the Oreos from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes. This ensures they’re the perfect temperature for eating and helps the dough set.
- Dust with Powdered Sugar: Generously dust the warm Oreos with powdered sugar for that classic carnival-style finish before serving.
Notes
- If the dough is hard to seal around the Oreo, stretch it gently—it’s very forgiving.
